Our Story
Diane was the name of mother and friend, Diane Lohan. In 2014, Diane Lohan was diagnosed with brain cancer. She fought as hard as she could but passed the following year. Her fight, along with many others, inspired us to start this charity, helping the families and patients of this terrible disease however we can. With the money donated, we will help support the families undergoing these expensive treatments and help to relieve their day-to-day financial burdens. By providing this support, families can focus on their loved ones, which should always be the main priority. Troublesome bills and other expenses only divert families’ attention away from their loved ones, who require all the support necessary to fight the disease.
Having personal experiences with the hardships of cancer, the stories of millions have inspired us to try to give back in anyway we can, as we've seen the struggles that cancer brings, to everyone involved.
The Bone Marrow and Cancer Foundation
A Bit of Background
Working as a fund incorporated with the Bone Marrow and Cancer Foundation, we can provide the necessary level of experience while also maintaining the level of personal care and attention each family needs. The Bone Marrow & Cancer Foundation, founded in 1992, is dedicated to improving the quality of life for cancer and transplant patients and their families by providing vital financial assistance, comprehensive resources, educational information, physician referrals, and emotional support programs.

Making A Difference
Giving to Others
Our primary mission is to deliver the community support that the Lohan family had received during their time of hardship. We know that the battle with cancer takes priority in a family's life, and so by providing families with the means to pay for daily necessities such as food and general housing bills. Allowing families to focus their care and attention on their loved ones is an asset that cant be supplied by doctors.
Helping Families
Battling cancer has so much of an emotional toll on the families going through the process, and the aftermath can be just as straining. When families lose their loved ones, they often go through times of sadness and sometimes even regret. We plan to help these people by assisting them in paying for their therapy and activities as a family, as this is the most important time for children to be with their parent or loved one, remembering those lost, yet remaining positive with the ones they love. Through our yearly fundraisers, families get to spend quality time together while also spreading awareness about the disease.
Goal
Here at the Diane Fund, we are driven by a single goal; to support families impacted by cancer and relieve the financial stress brought about by the disease and bring community aid. Cancer is a tough battle to go through for any family. When money is especially scarce for some families going through this struggle, they need aid and care but don't have enough money for the various expensive therapies and treatment to keep their loved ones fighting. We are looking for any donations to help us help others with the tough battle that is cancer.
